A brand new app has been developed in Scotland to help food allergy sufferers find more variety at meal times by scanning through recipes and offering alternative ingredients to use.
Out now on Android with an iOS version also planned, the app has been developed to help find recipes for people with food allergies.
Each day, a new recipe is posted to the app with each ingredient carefully checked for potential allergens. Users can tap on the ingredients to view alternative ingredients and find out where to purchase them. There is also an area of the app that lists what ingredients to look out for on food labels when out shopping, based on your allergies.
