1. Explore with Ease: Introducing Grocery Aisles!
We’ve removed the default screen that showed your bookmarks when you visited the Groceries area. While handy, it wasn’t the best for discovering new products or getting a broader view of what’s available. We’ve changed that!
Now, when you tap into the Groceries tab, you’ll be greeted with 10 distinct aisles, showcasing the latest and most relevant allergy-friendly items. Whether you’re looking for new Pastry options or exploring different Burgers, you can browse categories just like you would in a physical store. This makes finding safe and delicious foods simpler than ever before. And each day we’ll swap out an aisle, to keep things fresh for you, helping you discover more allergy friendly groceries.
Each item on display has been checked for YOUR allergens, meaning you can have confidence that it is suitable. The “Low-Risk” or “Caution” badges mean you can make informed decisions at a glance. No more second-guessing!
2. Smart Organization: Powerful Grocery Lists for Everyone!
Our previous “bookmarking” system was a good start, but we knew we could do better. We’ve replaced it with a robust Grocery Lists feature that offers unparalleled flexibility and collaboration.
Now, you can:
- Create Multiple Lists: Set up different lists for different needs – “Weekly Shop,” “Birthday Party,” “Pantry Restock,” or even a specific recipe like “Pies”!
- Collaborate with Family: This is a game-changer for families! If you have child accounts set up, you can now add items to lists under their profile. All parents linked to the child’s account will have access to and can edit these shared lists, ensuring everyone is on the same page and nothing gets missed. This fosters a truly collaborative and safe shopping environment for the whole family.
- Manage with Ease: Our intuitive interface makes it simple to create, edit, and manage your lists. See at a glance how many items are in each list and quickly make changes.
- Ingredient Changes: If ingredients change and a product is no longer safe, you’ll see an “Unsafe” badge on the item, and it’ll highlight what unsafe ingredient is listed.
3. Automated Low-Price Notifications
As if living with allergies wasn’t hard enough, we’re subjected to what we at Mealeez call the “allergy tax”. It can cost a family between 12-27% extra on their weekly shop due to food allergies. So it’s important to know know just what you can eat, but where you can get the best price.
Now, whenever an item you’ve added to a list drops to a new low price, we’ll let you where to get it and how much it costs.
